With two decades of experience in the world of illustration and design – and with a particular fondness for paper goods such as greeting cards and gift wrap – I have enjoyed collaborating with a variety of well-known brands including M&S, John Lewis, Waitrose, Moonpig, and Scribbler. My creations often begin with hand-drawn elements which I then enhance digitally. I also use software like Photoshop and Illustrator to create entirely digital designs. You can see my work here.
Driven by a desire to contribute to my community, I began working at a local day care centre for adults with learning disabilities. There, I led art and craft sessions, along with activities such as gardening, cooking, and community outings. The art sessions, in particular, were profoundly rewarding as I observed the significant boost they gave to participants’ well-being and self-esteem.
This role reignited my passion for traditional art materials and techniques, allowing me to guide individuals of all abilities in creative exploration, resulting in work they were proud of and numerous happy accidents along the way!
Now, as part of Creative Minds, I am committed to facilitating art sessions that inspire creativity and bring joy to my local community.
