I have studied art and practiced as an artist on and off over the years. I have also worked in various roles where I have helped vulnerable people and on occasion I enjoyed combining the two. More recently I have been learning more about the positive impact of art on health and wellbeing. I then came across Creative Minds and realised that this was a way for me to bring my experience and my two passions (of art and helping people) together.
Having a support network, expertise to hand and being part of a community is very appealing to me, being a full time mother for many years, and now getting back to work. By becoming a Creative Minds artist, I’m now able to help all kinds of people, of all ages and all backgrounds, to enjoy creating art and reaping the health and wellbeing benefits.
